First: avoid places that get commonly nuked, like the cranberry bog, Whitesprings, and near the mine that spawns Earle. Again I would take advantage of the second camp slot just incase your primary camp spot is occupied.Į: In essence, your camp gets obliterated. Then whoever activates their camp first once the space is vacant will have the privilege of having their camp open until they leave. If you are the first camp to spawn in that particular spot, any other players camp that tries to pop in will get the "Blocked" message and will have to wait for your camp to either despawn via changing camp slots or leaving the server. It's a first come first server in terms of who gets your spot. It at least will give you another camp to work with.ĭ: There is not really any "protection" for your camp. ![]() ![]() ![]() Pretty much when you activate your camp, it loads as if you are joining a server.Ĭ: it's best to take advantage of the second camp slot in the map menu if your camp spot is taken. It is despawned, but once the player leaves or you find a new server, you can activate your camp from the map menu and everything should pop up as it should without any problems. A: Everyone's camp has the same amount of active building area (the build circle) however there are some places on the map that are not great for building depending on what is in the environment, how crazy the terrain is, and sometimes just random un-explainable stuff that keeps you from building specific things on a specific tile.ī: if someone has a camp in your spot your base is still safe. ![]()
